WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A GIRDLE AND A BELT?
We have talked a lot, about what is a shape wear, but what we know about postpartum girdle, well let’s study that, too. If you refer the dictionary or the Wikipedia, it says exactly, the following words - “A girdle is a garment that encircles the lower torso or the trunk, perhaps extending below the hips, and worn often for support. The word girdle originally meant a belt. In modern English, the term girdle is most commonly, used for a form of women's foundation wear, which in the modern English is better known as the shape wears that replaced the corsets, in popularity. In sports, a girdle may be similar to compression shorts”.
A Postpartum girdle is most essential – but many question pops in mind ,before going for it like why a girdle required, after a child birth is or what is the actual function of post pregnancy girdle. What does it do, besides supporting the abs? Rather, what does it actually mean to do? This garment known as girdle, and this Postpartum girdle is exceptionally, designed a step ahead than a pregnancy shape ware, which supports a woman’s unique contour and helps compressing and adjusting, the front panel or the rectos reducing the uterus swelling. It has a back panel, which integrates, back support, ceases back pain, and improves posture. A girdle cannot be used for fashion like that of a shape ware, and sometimes, the same are not so, stylish in look. Since, they are more used on medical ground, its hypoallergenic fabrics prevents skin rashes and its micro porous design allows the skin to breathe, keeping it fresh, dry and comfortable.
